I’m a high school student going into 10th grade, and I’m so excited to be working at the animal shelter. I’ve always loved animals—especially cats—and I have three of my own at home. As a Shelter Assistant, I help care for the animals by feeding them and making sure they have water, cleaning their spaces, and taking care of their general needs. I’m grateful for the opportunity to support these animals while they wait for their forever homes. When I’m not at the shelter, I enjoy playing volleyball and dancing.
