I’m originally from Eastern Tennessee but have lived in Redwood Falls for many years. I started working at the Redwood Area Animal Shelter almost a year ago as a Shelter Assistant and recently stepped into the role of Animal Care Technician. Caring for animals is something I’m truly passionate about, and I take great pride in making sure their needs are always met.

In my role, I handle daily care routines like feeding, watering, and toileting, as well as administering medications and providing basic medical care. I also tend to animals recovering from surgery, making sure they’re comfortable and healing well.

Outside of the shelter, I work for the Weis family, helping care for their Shelties. While I don’t have any pets of my own at the moment, I always say—if I could, I’d have them all! When I’m not working, I enjoy relaxing and watching TV.
