I was raised on a farm with cattle, pigs, chickens, cats and dogs. I went to Wabasso public school but no college. I have three brothers and two sisters and one has passed away. My first marriage produced two boys, Mitchell and Adam. I have four grandchildren as well. I divorced after twenty five years from my previous wife.

As fate had it, I met Cheri and we got married. I worked at the elementary school as a custodian for 42 years. I retired 3-1/2 years ago.

Cheri and I joined the animal shelter board of directors prior to the current board. We work with a Boxer rescue in effort to find perfect homes for boxers in need. Currently, we have a 12 year old boxer named Mila who has some special medical needs including seizures. Cheri and I have shared our lives with several boxers over the year together.

I like to spend time with the dogs at the animal shelter and enjoy working with the people who work there.

When I am not at the shelter, I enjoy working in the flower gardens, do carpentry work, ride my motorcycle and deliver pharmaceuticals for Sward Kemp.
