I grew up on a small acreage in Iowa, where my love for animals - especially hoses - started early. With strengths in math and communication, I found my way into a career in finance. My husband and I are now raising two energetic boys and we enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling and sharing our home with several beloved shelter pets.

Volunteering on the board of our local animal shelter is deeply meaningful to me - it’s a way to give back and help ensure that every animal we can help gets the chance to find a safe, loving home.
